Light From The Human Family
The Holy Quran: Surah/Chapter 23 (Mu-minun/The Believers), Ayat/Verses 12 to 14
With the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful
- Man We did create from a quintessence (of clay);
- Then We placed him as (a drop of) sperm in a place of rest firmly fixed;
- Then We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of that clot We made a fetus-lump; then We made out of that lump bones and clothed the bones with flesh; then We developed out of it another creature: so blessed be God, the Best to create!
The reality is composed of the seen; things we can see, and the unseen; things we cannot see. Also, the reality contains things we know something about, and things we know nothing about; the known and the unknown.
Because something is unseen and unknown does not mean it does not exist. We know little or nothing about protons, neutrons and electrons, but they exist. Nuclear physicists study atoms and the forces that cause them to react. They use their knowledge of atomic particles to produce nuclear power plants, nuclear weapons, X-ray machines, etc.
There is One Unseen Mystery that humanity has been reaching out to connect with. Many have gone into seclusion and silence and have reported experiences with connecting with this One Unseen Mystery, usually referred to as “God.”
The “likeness” of the One Unseen Mystery is like the empty hole in a wheel. The spokes of the wheel represent all the things we can see in the heavens and earth. The empty spaces between each spoke are like the unseen things that exist in the heavens and the earth. Without the empty hole in the center of the wheel (The One Unseen Mystery) there would be no connectivity between all creation in the heavens and the earth. Every human being owes their existence and daily biological maintenance to that One Unseen Mystery.
We need to establish times to go into seclusion and silence to attempt to connect with That Mystery, which is called by many names: Allah, Jehovah, Yahweh, Brahma, Jah, The Lord, The Almighty, The Creator, God, etc.
Why do I pray to “It”? I pray because there are benefits from praying. History has shown us that all those who set aside time to be in silent solitude to pray to “It,” regardless of the name they use to call on “It,” or how they image “It” in their minds, have benefited mentally, physically and spiritually. Although, it is a mystery to how it works….
Although “It,” the ultimate Mystery, is unseen, we see evidence of the existence and presence in all creation – in the heavens and on earth.
In the birth and death of the human being, we see evidence of the existence of this Unseen Power. During the first days and months of a baby’s life in this dimension, before you can tell they see you, at times you will notice their head and eyes staring straight up and their body language suggests they are seeing and communicating with “Something.”
The same thing can be seen before death. Critically ill people will slowly stop showing, through their eyes and body language, that they are aware of your presence; their head and eyes do not turn in your direction when you try to communicate with them, and their facial expressions show no awareness that they are aware of your presence. However, like the newborn baby, at times you will notice their head and eyes staring straight up, and they will show signs through their facial expressions and some slight movements of their lips that they are seeing and communicating with “Something.”
I pray to that “Something,” “The Ultimate Mystery,” “The Unseen,” because all creation reveals evidence that “It” exists….
The Teachings of Buddha: “Silence is not empty; it is full of answers.”
The Holy Quran: Surah/Chapter 16 (An-Nahl/The Bee), Ayat/Verses 1 to 4
With the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful
- Inevitable cometh to pass the Command of God: seek ye not then to hasten it: glory to God, and far is God above having the partners they ascribe!
- God sends down angels with inspiration on Command, to such of God’s servants as pleaseth, saying: "Warn humanity that there is no god but I: so, do your duty unto God,”
- God has created the heavens and the earth for just ends: far is God above having the partners they ascribe!
- God has created the human being from a sperm― drop; and behold this same human being becomes an open disputer!
