Nature Untamed and Unbound
How do you know what you know? It's impossible for me to walk in the woods and be in a bad mood at the same time.
Nature is an incomparable guide if you know how to follow her. She is like the needle of the compass pointing to the north, which is most useful ... when you know how to navigate. ~ C. G. JUNG
Nature can speak to us if we stop and learn her language and animals can talk to us if we can listen to their voice. When we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change. Listen to the cry of the earth. I'm talking about life at the speed of nature. Nothing I say can explain to you Divine Love. Yet all of creation cannot stop talking about it. Listen to the wind ... it talks. Listen to the silence ... it speaks. Listen to your heart ... it knows.
By the lake in the woods in the shadows, you can whisper that truth to the quiet reflection you see in the water. Whatever you hear from the water, remember. It wants you to carry the sound of its truth on your lips ... ~ David Whyte
Nature itself was the first Bible. Before there was the written Bible, there was the Bible in things made. That wisdom is organic within us. Spirituality is about realizing we are already there in the source of everything. Instead of seeing natural things as merely objects to be used, we must allow nature to enchant us. Whisper, I love you, to a butterfly and it will fly to heaven to deliver your message. Our imagination is the elemental speech in all senses, the first and the last, of primitive men and of the poets.
