Description: Spiritual Mentoring offers the opportunity to hold another in a space of love, compassion, and acceptance as they seek to align with their own inner Divinity. A spiritual mentor creates a space in which a mentee will be seen, heard, and guided on their spiritual journey. This profound opportunity to guide another makes the mentoring process a sacred opportunity to sit with another and experience the Divine Beloved within the mentee.

The Spiritual Mentoring Certificate Program is especially designed for those wanting to cultivate the inner presence and skills necessary for offering mentoring to those in need. This program is open to ordained clergy, seminarians in training, as well as to mental health counselors and other helping professionals who may desire to incorporate a spiritual focus into their practice. If you are interested in this program but do not find yourself in one of the above categories, please contact us to discuss your particular situation and, together, we can assess the appropriateness of this program for you.
Goals: At the end of the program, participants will be able to:
  • Define and describe spiritual mentoring
  • Name and explain three basic skills used in spiritual mentoring
  • Demonstrate the use of expressive therapies and spiritual practices for mentoring
  • Describe how mental illness, physical illness, and marginalized identity can impact the spiritual journey
  • Create a vision and plan for their own spiritual mentoring practice
Other:

The class will be structured to be available in dual-mode, allowing participants to be either in-person or online via Zoom.
Fee: $1,800.00

Deep Gong Immersion
Instructor: Rev. Linda Goodman
Meetings: 1 Saturday Meeting
Date: October 14th, 2023
Time: 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm EDT
Format: On Site
Audience: Anyone
Description: Gongs have been tools for healing, relaxation, and connecting with Spirit for thousands of years. There is evidence that places the use of the gong as far back as 16,000 B.C.

In a gong bath, you simply lie back and let the deep, penetrating sounds of the gong wash over you (hence the term "bath"). The frequencies of the gong will quickly transport you into the theta and delta brain waves of deepest meditation where guidance may be received, buried emotional trauma may be released, and healing may occur at the innermost vibrational level.

We welcome you into this altered state.
Goals: Deep meditative state, connection with the Divine
Other: Also offered on, November 15 from 6:30 - 8:00 pm and Wednesday, December 13 from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. Sign up for any or all sessions in the registration link.
Fee: $35.00
